Sending snail mail is so special. Whether it is as a thank you, an invitation, or just to say “hi”, dropping a letter in the mail shows such beautiful intention to the addressed. With the internet such a powerful force, I agree it’s easier to click “send” than to go to the post office for a book of stamps. However, when sending thank you notes, I really try to send snail mail. I think the time & energy put into creating the note helps demonstrate my appreciation!
I recently had the pleasure of experimenting with Polaroid’s new printer. Using an app, this portable device prints photos straight from your phone’s library. The app has cute stickers, text and photo editing options! Besides being the perfect gadget for a family gathering (i.e. “Can I get that picture”??), the tiny photos it creates gives you the same nostalgia of your old Polaroid.
I just went on a vacation to Block Island (which you know I loved if you follow me over on Instagram), and wanted to thank the family’s that let me tag along. Using the printer, I was able to send a photo of our time together – creating a custom card along with a cute photo perfect for the fridge. Sharing a photo with your “thank you” is perfect for any card; graduation parties, bridal or baby showers.
Using the Snap Touch App (available to download in the App store) – select the desired photo to print. If you are using a photo from a DSLR (like me, guilty) sometimes you have to click the “edit button” in order to keep the correct the dimensions of the image!
Stick the photo corners onto the photo and press onto the front of the card.
Attach any decorative elements to the card. I used the envelope stickers as well as the shell stickers to go with the nautical theme.

What kind of cards will you create ?
