While Kate Spade isn’t the only one using the phrase “I am very busy” this season, she is one of my favorite designers simply because her style is sleek, chic, and sassy. The brand’s classy pieces are the ultimate statement, which is the reason other companies desperately seek collaborations. Not being a multimillion dollar business owner, I’ve created a collaboration of my own using her seamless style. This is a great budget friendly way to get the look you want while maintaining the motivation to study.
You will need:
- Pencil pouch (best if made with cotton or natural fiber) – I got this one from Target
- Heat n bond ultra hold (red package)
- Colored fabric
I made my stencil using a word document – this way you can customize your voice. Kate Spade’s signature font is Futura, which is available on basic Microsoft Word.
After ironing the fabric to the heat n bond per instructions on package, I traced my stencil ink side down – this way when you press with your pen, some ink is left behind.
Cut, cut, cut!
Finally – arrange your design and iron to the pencil pouch.
