If you’re wrapping gifts last minute (like me) & don’t want to run to the store to face terrifying hoards of confused shoppers (like me) here are some ways to make Pinterest worthy wrapping with items that are already in your decked halls.
I used postal wrap as my paper. Which in my option is humbly underrated, as it has uses beyond Christmas paper and is usually less than two dollars for a huge roll. For the seamstress: It’s also amazing for pattern making, preserving, and down/up sizing. I used stamps I already had, you can buy these exact ones now at Micheal’s on super sale (as Christmas is almost on the out).
Things you’ll need:
- Large Paper (postal wrapping paper, old paper bags)
- Stamps & Ink
- Decorative Extras (mine were left over from projects past)
- The Hallmark Channel (optional)
Make sure when you are stamping, you are pressing down on a hard, flat surface. Otherwise the stamp will appear creased (meaning there’s noticeable lines throughout the print.
& if you’re not so good at wrapping gifts – here’s a guide.
