Fall is my favorite season, color and state of mind. The chilly air is just enough bite to slip into a treasured sweater & the horizon bursts with a kaleidoscope of color. The warm palate of autumn consists of auburns, burnt oranges, festive reds and vibrant yellows. I’ll forever be a local and a leaf peeper.
JORD WOOD WATCH
This past weekend we traveled to Warren, VT to visit family and welcome autumn. On my packing list were some statement accessories, like my new JORD watch. My obsession with the rich natural color of fall is one of the reasons I love JORD wood watch. Locally made in St. Louis, MO, these watches match effortlessly with my fall wardrobe. I chose the Frankie in dark sandalwood in smoke, because of it’s neutral versatility and partially because of the adjective “smoke” (I’m a sucker for a good adjective). I was uncertain if how the size of the face would look on my wrist, but found it’s boy-ish charm matched flawlessly with my favorite Pendleton blazer.
I debuted my watch at a local farmer’s market where I tried the most delicious fiddle heads (pickled ferns – highly recommend) and drank the freshest apple cider. – if you watched my Instagram story you saw how a local was pressing apple mash to make it! After an afternoon sampling eats, we stopped at a pumpkin festival on the ride home. A pumpkin patch seemed to be the one thing missing from our cliche autumn afternoon & who can resist a pumpkin picture? :)(answer: not me ever)
JORD is currently holding a contest that I’m really excited about. The quality & uniqueness of these watches make them a great closet staple or a thoughtful gift – (my very handsome freelance photographer has already stolen mine for the foreseeable future)
